モンゴル料理 こぺん
現代人が今、大切だとやっと気づいた「サステイナブル」な暮らしを、約３０００年伝え続けているモンゴルの遊牧生活。その知恵を体感できるワークショップです。
まず、モンゴルの自然と遊牧民の暮らしを紹介する大型写真パネルと動画を展示し、モンゴルにいるかのような空間づくりをします。そのなかで、
・モンゴル伝統のゲームやパズルを楽しんでみる
・民族衣装を着てみる
・伝統家屋ゲルのミニチュアを建ててみる
・自然の恵みで作られた特産品に触れてみる・・・・など、
いろいろな体験をするなかで、サステイナブルだからこそ現代にも生きているモンゴルの知恵が体感できるでしょう。
各コーナー及びホワイトボードに、モンゴルのサステイナブルな暮らしと文化を具体的に解説したパネルも展示します。

動く絵本『ニジェール物語』上映会と原作者トークショー

サハラ砂漠の真ん中で２年間暮らしたフクダヒデコ氏が砂漠での不思議な体験をもとに書き上げた『ニジェール物語』。これを映像化した動く絵本は、「映文連アワード２０１８文部科学大臣賞」を受賞。会場では上映会（約２３分）の後、原作者のトークショーを行います。西アフリカでも不安定な状況が続く今、ニジェールのことをひとりでも多くの人に知ってほしいと思います。

The nomadic lifestyle of Mongolia has preserved “sustainable living” for nearly 3,000 years—something modern people are only now beginning to recognize as essential. This workshop offers a hands-on experience of that wisdom.
Large photo panels and videos showcasing Mongolia’s natural landscapes and the daily life of nomadic herders will be displayed to create an immersive space that feels as if you’ve stepped into Mongolia. Within this environment, participants can:
・Try traditional Mongolian games and puzzles
・Wear traditional clothing
・Build a miniature model of a ger, the traditional Mongolian dwelling
・Explore specialty products made from the blessings of nature
Through these various activities, you will experience firsthand the sustainable wisdom that continues to thrive in Mongolia today.

“The Niger Story,” written by Hideko Fukuda based on her mysterious experiences during two years of life in the middle of the Sahara Desert, has been adapted into an animated picture book. This film received the 2018 Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award at the Eibunren Awards. After the approximately 23‑minute screening, the author will hold a talk session. As instability continues in parts of West Africa, we hope that many people will learn more about Niger.

In Japan, married couples are still legally required to share the same surname, and it is said that Japan is the only country in the world that enforces this by law. More than 90% of couples in Japan adopt the husband’s surname. In this program, we will connect with local speakers in Turkey and Austria—countries that have recently undergone legal reforms—to discuss the background behind the introduction of optional separate surnames for married couples and how such systems affect daily life and work. We will be joined by attorney Chino Kikuma, well known from television information programs, for an in‑depth conversation. Let’s take this opportunity to reflect together on the future of our society through the lens of surnames and family structures.
